Why Join HAMA
HAMA's monthly membership meetings promote fellowship, interaction, and participation among members. HAMA members explore potential teaming opportunities, find out about upcoming procurements, get explanations of important policy changes, and find out who to contact for a particular requirement. The meetings provide members with an effective network for acquiring and disseminating information. In addition, HAMA typically conducts several social activities, field trips/plant tours and educational seminars during the course of the year. |

Activities and Functions
HAMA monthly membership meetings, held the second Friday of each month, provide the best networking opportunity as well as an informative forum for briefings and discussions on topics of interest to the Huntsville aerospace community led by a government or industry speaker. HAMA's luncheon/discussion format allows HAMA members to interact with and respond to the speakers. Additionally, this format gives guest speakers an opportunity to meet and talk with a large number of key industry representatives in an informal atmosphere. Often, this interaction helps clarify regulations, provides critical information on policies and priorities, and gives HAMA members a better understanding of the purposes and intentions of both government agencies and prime contractors.
Because of the caliber of both the membership and the speakers, HAMA meetings are popular events. And, although attendance generally is restricted, HAMA members may invite other industry guests to attend and participate in the meetings. |
